CHARLIE BAKER

Charlie Baker’s instant likeability and charming delivery style has earned him a reputation as “a superior take on the modern showman” (The Guardian). He is a popular face on TV having been in The IT Crowd, Miranda, Vexed, Eastenders and Doctor Who, and shows including Never Mind the Buzzcocks and The Rob Brydon Show. Charlie has also been in feature films such as The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas and How to be England Manager.

TROY HAWKE

Back by popular demand with his latest comic creation, Milo McCabe adds to his bizarre and diverse range of alter-egos and delivers a masterclass in character comedy. As the ultimate example of the white middle-class male, Troy Hawke is in search of a struggle. In the guise of Troy, McCabe addresses some of the more sensitive issues of our modern world with satirical genius. Rumours abound that McCabe will soon be featuring in a sitcom by the creators of The Inbetweeners so catch him while you can.

“Ridiculously talented” – Kate Copstick

DANIEL AUDRITT

Despite being relatively new on the scene, Daniel Audritt has already managed to find himself in the final of many prestigious New Talent Competitions, including The Amused Moose Laugh Off and Piccadilly Comedy Club New Comedian of the Year, and even managed to win the Golden Jesters New act of the Year. Alongside stand up, Daniel is a filmmaker and writer who has written for TV shows like 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Radio shows like Dead Ringers.

“Daniel’s self-deprecating post-relationship meanderings are as hilarious as they are ridiculous. Never far away from a killer one-liner it’s easy to see why he is in such high demand as a writer.” – The Basis

BEN VAN DER VELDE

Compere for the night is Ben Van der Velde. Hailed as “a sharp and crafty gagsmith” and a “life-giving compere”, Ben is a warm, friendly host who is as adept at quickfire audience interaction as he is with exuberant playground daftness. He is a stand-up comedian, actor and presenter, who, over the past few years, has spread joy and nonsense to all four corners of the British Isles, as well as Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Norway.

In 2011 Ben was crowned Comedy Café New Act of the Year. Ben then went on to host Just the Tonic’s Big Value Comedy Showcase at the Edinburgh Fringe 2012, impressing industry and punters alike. Ben is currently helmsman of the Chortle Award-winning Good Ship Comedy Club in London. “Wonderfully improvised riffs showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue.” - Edinburgh Festivals Magazine
